Taking out the seats and console. Building a new center console. taking out the front deck and part of the back deck to make more walk around room. (Got to follow a big fish around the boat). New fiberglassed floor with slip proof coating. Water pump rebuild and new impeller. Hydraulic jack plate to raise up motor to run shallower. Any other suggestions?

If yer gonna leave the center steer,, I would make a portable bar that sits in yer rear pin-hole:evil:   Then you can remove for easy transport...6 rods should be plenty

Sounds like a good idea from someone who has been there

Goggle,
If you leave that seat mount in the back that would be a good start/anchor point for the rod board. Like Pigeon said I would put about 6 tite-loc rod holders equally spaced off the back.
I would even consider a couple of Roberts rod holders up front and you can use yellow birds to kick off to the sides and give you a pretty decent spread.
Also if you wanted to troll out in the harbors in early spring for coho it widens your coverage/presentation. (they also work nicely when trolling for walleye out east...)
