1) If anyone would like to take the place of the people who left, let me know via PM.
2) Can't change much as we are in the middle of this thing, but since many feel it is out of reach, I am adding the following:
a) Top 5 individual scorers will be listed on an Awards Thread at the end, along with the winning team.
b) The 1 single person who has the highest score in each category will be listed on the Awards thread as well.
Example:
ISSC08 Turkey Entry Winner: Angler 103, 28 pound bird, 12" beard, 27mm spurs for a score of 83.00
c) Now the accountability part:
If you win a category like Angler 103 in the example above, you have to post something constructive and usefull about the event.
Maybe it is a detailed account, maybe something more. Something that people can read and maybe pick up a tip from to make them more successfull. Something that gives back to this site and makes it what it is suppose to be. Here is an example:
Angler 103 posts: "I used a new call XYZ, I put the bird to bed the night before, I used $50 shells and shot him at 60 yards, I never hunted before but made friends with a teammate and he helped me out. etc."
I look at Sportsmans post asking about catfishing at night versus day and realize there are people on here begging for info.
If you win a category, you get your name "in lights" on the Awards Thread, but to stay there you must hold yourself accountable to what this site is about by providing some useful information on how you were able to win said category.
Now, can I get a little help via PM's or Supermods or whatever to get the check in thread atleast brought back up. I want to see the 38" carp that brought the house down again.:bonk:
