You all wouldn't happen to have a pair of old window weights laying around in your garage,or shed that you'd like to part with would you?
Need a set of anchors for my son's jon boat.

While the can works pretty good, I have to agree with hs that the window weights are the best.

I have a couple of coffee cans full of concrete with high tensile wire cast into them :)
Prior to filling them with concrete, you can poke rebar through the sides of the can to form an "X".....makes them good for river anchors as well. I used an eyebolt with a large washer for a tie-point.
