Guys I Need Your Help!!! Auto Industry Guys Please Read.

New York introduced the Accelerated Retirement of Inefficient Vehicles Act (H.R. 520) on January 14, 2009. This bill would allow owners of vehicles with a less than 18 mpg rating to trade in their vehicle for a voucher that could be applied toward the purchase of a more fuel efficient vehicle or for the use of public transportation. H.R. 520 has been referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce for further review. Although I am not a member of the Energy and Commerce Committee, should this bill come before me on the House floor I will keep your thoughts in mind when considering it. </SPAN>
