Please take a minute to read this link. It could dramatically affect the industry that my family and many families in this country rely on. It only takes two seconds to fill it out and it will automatically send the letter to the representatives in your area.

It could put a lot of people on the street without a job that service automobiles.

I don't ask for much. But if a few of you could take a couple seconds and fill it out it might make a difference.

Thanks in advance.

New York introduced the Accelerated Retirement of Inefficient Vehicles Act (H.R. 520) on January 14, 2009. This bill would allow owners of vehicles with a less than 18 mpg rating to trade in their vehicle for a voucher that could be applied toward the purchase of a more fuel efficient vehicle or for the use of public transportation. H.R. 520 has been referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce for further review. Although I am not a member of the Energy and Commerce Committee, should this bill come before me on the House floor I will keep your thoughts in mind when considering it. </SPAN>

Thank you for keeping in touch with me. If I may be of assistance in the future, please do not hesitate to contact me again. I also encourage you to visit my Web site, which may be found on-line at www.Souder.House.gov (http://www.Souder.House.gov).
