Guess not.

I was the only other opposition to this proposal. Besides having the coon dogs in the woods during turkey season and bow season, I am of the opinion that the woods and every animal in it deserves a break sometime during the year. Coon dogs can run 325+ days a year already. I'm still convinced that the other 40 days isn't just for sport. Money is involved in field trials. This will likely pass on to the NRC and eventually become a new rule.
