woohoo i found some spounge. was out for about a half hour today just down the road from my house and found 3 little grays, 2 nice blacks, and a couple of dry peckers :corkysm55 . finally they have come. i still think we need a couple of more days.i live in orland so if you are close PM me and i would gladly take you to my spot, it is on public land so its open to all.

my grandpa just called. he was over by fremont this morning and picked 25 grays. thats private land.:evilsmile

Were they by certain trees? Were they on a south facing hillside or flat land?

sorry it took so long to get back to you. i found them on a south west hill around some small elms and a big wild rose bush. was out today after some gill fishin and 40 or so greys and a dozen yellow. in the same area.:corkysm55
