Just wondering if fishing the Monroe Dam for catfish is a good idea. Anyone try above/below it?

The area above the dam has plenty of good bank fishing spots, and at times can be good for catfishing, espically after a good hard rain and waters on the rise.
The area below the dam is espically good if they are letting water out. Your likely to catch anything there, and you just might catch a few good walleye there. But be warned, do not eat anything you catch below the dam. Lots of PCB's and fish are not safe to eat.
