This 8 pointer has just shown up on camera in the last few days. How old is he? Would you shoot him?

sure, I'd be glad to shoot him for you! Just show me where he sleeps. ;)

I guess it depends on what the rest of the deer look like, could be a good one to let walk this year.

He Is A Nice Buck, I Would Say A 2 1/2 Year Old Deer. Good Luck If You Go After Him, Or His Daddy!

2.5 year old. While the tine and beam length are nice for a 2.5 year old, he's lacking mass. Beyond the antlers, his chest isn't big enough and his snout isn't right for an older deer. The belly sag you see is likely due to the crater he's standing in.

I say 2.5 year old that will be a dang impressive deer in 2 years.

I am going to say he is a 3.5 yr old. He has pretty long main beams and has decent width about him. He will score 119 6/8 +- 1":)

sidenote: make sure you aren't adding mineral to your mineral site.....check the hunting regulations on this.

Most likely a 3 year old, 120" 8 point, pass. He could be 2, but hard to tell, depends on your herd genetics.

Might make 110", but I don't think so. 2 1/2. Pass.

Hey that deer is cross with a wistle pig (goundhog). He's more than likely 2 1/2

Nice deer, maybe 2 1/2-3, I'd vote to let him walk, he will be more impressive next year, better the year after.

id say 2 or 2-1/2 year old. nice tine length, but if you want a real trophy wait another 2 years and your talking maybe a 150 class or better buck. if he lives that long, good luck, and im with you what ever your decision.
