Well, not much activity due to weather sunday.High wind and temps reaching 65+. Did see a few small bucks and I mean small, around 2pm feeding on acorns on a oak knoll but that was it for my sunday. Also noticed the scrapes have not been touched at all, like some one turned off a switch. I have noticed In the past 16 years halloween is a key day for seeing big bucks along with the first week of november. All of the big bucks I have taken with bow have been between Oct 25 to Nov 9th. I really think this is when chasing and breeding is going on,Depending on weather(cold) and the amount of older does are on the property. I know the first does being chased are old ones those big swamp donkeys must get hot first and the rest follow. I am hunting two areas in Indiana,Porter county and warren county. In both areas the rut activity seems the same so within a 100 miles north to south there is not much diff. Well good luck and be carful all.
