I found over 200 Mushrooms yesterday, most of them were big Black morels and the rest were white and grey ones. All of them were good eating size.

Morgan County Mushrooms

They were finding lots of mushrooms today here in Morgan county. Most of them are grays and blacks with a few yellow sponge mixed in.
Biggest was about 6 inch's or so.
The crappie bite was very good in the farm ponds around here !

went out last night and no mushrooms. the ferns are coming up and last year had to push them out of the way to find them so it's a good sign for us here in the north!

I really wanted to go fishing today, but decided I'd better get organized and partly packed for turkey camp instead. Went and looked in my little woods for about an hour today. I usually wait til the yellows are out here at home but this year I looked earlier. This was a nice little find for me. Kinda funny or maybe embarrassing to figure that these have been right under my nose for the last 10 years. Check out the double in the front row.

Found these at the same spot where I looked on thursday, and these weren't there, a few of these were already starting to dry out. This rain we're supposed to get for the next few days will really make them pop I think.
