2007 spring wild turkey harvest report

Discussion in 'Indiana Turkey Hunting' started by BREWERSVILLE OUTFITTERS, Jul 16, 2007.

  1. 15% drop ... pretty much where I suspected it would be.

Our county had a 9% jump though. Not bad for a tough year.:coolgleam

Next year is going to ROCK! A lot of 2 year olds next spring. I'm betting on a record harvest for 2008.:coolgleam

  2. Look at the huge drop in 2 year olds. Supports exactly what was reported across the mid-west with a bad 2005 hatch.

  3. Dangit! I hunted in the wrong county again this year. :banghead3

  4. Marshall and Starke counties were up 24%...and I still am birdless, ugh!

  5. The DNR reported that 736 turkeys were taken during the first youth spring turkey season. Apparrently the kids did better than the adults.

  6. The count would have been 737 if some moron from the state had not shown up and busted my daughter's hunt!!! :bash:

  7. Noble county was up 117%.........it wasnt my fault though....

  8. I MUST HAVE BEEN ONE OF THOSE IN THE 15%. IT`S COMFORTING TO KNOW THAT I HAD ALOT OF COMPANY. THERE`S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR.......
