#3 in the series... SHOW OFF YOUR ML!

Discussion in 'Sound Off' started by Old Ironsights, Feb 27, 2007.

  1. I don't have just a picture of my m.l. either, so these will have to do.

Traditions Buckhunter Pro .50 cal., stainless steel, camo stock, Nikon scope.

I don't take it out often, but when I do it usually draws some blood.

  2. Ahhhh yes, the Tomato Juice Buck....

  3. Yea, it was ugly.:evilsmile I soaked an entire sweat shirt in trying to sop the blood up. He bled so bad I made more of a mess then when I started. Oh well, I tried. Blood is a part of what I do.

  4. Nice pics DEC. What kind of scope do you have on that Trad?

  5. Ironsights, is that the original barrel? Good looking muzzleloader. I noticed over at greybeards you do castings. What mould would come close to hornady xtp 250g?

  6. I'm assuming you mean the barrel & cylinder on the Rugeo Old Army... (the TC is stock, and the stock is black plastic... ;) )

No, it is not original. It's a conversion done by Dave Clement at clementscustomguns.com

The 5 shot cylinder will take 50gr 4F and a .490 Round Ball or .488 custom conical.

I'm not sure what would come close to the XTP. Since the cylinder is actually .488(ish) no standard .50 mold (except .490RB) will work.

  7. Nikon Buckmaster 3-9x40. Good optics for the price.

  8. Does a wish list count?[IMG]
    How soon is Christmas?

  9. CVA Frontier Hunter Carbine .50 Cal Percussion
