Hope to see lots of floks get on board here. It's a great opportunity to get to know each other.

Been doing a little beagling now that the bird season is out. Went new year's day and got two. Spent the morning listening to the hounds talk to the bunnies. Cover is so heavy it was really an effort to find lanes to look for shots.

Poor little dogs, this was the first run of the year for them. They were whipped for the rest for the day. Took one of them out yesterday and after a couple fo chases got rained out.

I've been wanting to take the dogs out the last few days but every time I think about it I've looked outside and its raining. I think I need to take up steelheading. When its warm and raining I think that should be a good time to go.

I too am one of the dogless but still enjoy it.
Went New Years Day and went 0-4.:( Still had a good time though with good friends and good laughs.

What is everyones prefered weapon for bunnys? I myself would like to get a 20ga pump, but my .410 does me fine right now. Just need to lead them a little more.:dizzy: ;)

Bunnies

At least one more here.

I've had mine out about twice a week since Sept. And their little fuzzy butts are still beat after a long day. The ride home is ALWAYS quieter than the ride out.

Have I "seen" you on upland journal board?

I've been out a couple of times here in Michigan with my beagle. I'm waiting for the snow to fly and not melt away again to get back out there. This is my 3rd year hunting and I really enjoy listening to the hound and watching her work. As far as a weapon I use a 20 gauge Ruger Red Label and I love it. Light and accurate.
