    Dear Mr. Huber,
Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns regarding HB 1349, otherwise known as the ‘canned hunting’ bill. I am adamantly opposed to game being raised for private hunting facilities, and if it comes up again I will vote against it.
The bill was passed by the House of Representatives, without my vote, but was not heard in the Senate Committee on Rules and Legislative Procedure. This effectively killed the bill, although the language may still appear in another bill during conference committees. I will continue to monitor this issue.
Again, thank you for expressing your interest in the legislative process. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any future thoughts or concerns.
    Sincerely,
    Ben GiaQuinta
    State Representative
    House District 80
