I am thinking of taking the wife and kids to Brookville Lake tomorrow for a little picnicing. I've never been to the lake, could anyone give me any info on the beach area, such as the size of it and what it's like. Thanks!!!

Sorry, Backstrap. Didn't see your post. If you didn't go or are headed out again, there are two beach areas. One is Quakertown on the northwest part of the lake and the other is Mounds Park on the southeast end of the lake. Mounds is probably the better developed, but neither on is probably officially open until Memorial Day.

P.S. If you plan to fish with the kids, try it right off the dam. There's a parking area at the dam.
