I was recently fishing a pond that is mostly consisted of carp. I was using dough balls and they werent biting them at all. I was wondering if anyone had a good recipe on bait to use for carp or other ways to catch them.
I see a lot of people who have good luck with carp by fly fishing. It's off the subject somewhat, I know, but it seems to work. They have carp tournaments for fly fishermen on Brookville. Also, if you look around the internet there is a tackle shop and fishing club dedicated exclusively to carp fishing on the south side of Chicago. Like the English, they refer to it as "rough fishing" or "course fishing." They have annual tournaments up there and probably have some good bait ideas, too.
