I went duck hunting with a couple friends in central indiana on New year's day. We nailed this nice batch of birds:

My friends tell me they've shot several limits of mallards and a few geese from there. I can see why, we were covered in ducks all morning long. We had some problems with ice and also some ducks flaring off to a nearby newly flooded field, but the opportunities were definitley there, it was a fun day.
