Complete Decapitation in Indiana

  1. This post is a few days late. Life got in the way and last night I finally had a chance to sit down at the editing machine. After a few frustrating days in Indiana, I finally got on some birds this past Sunday. I found them late that morning and watched them for a couple of hours before deciding to do an evening setup and catch them as they made their way to their general roost area. The plan worked perfectly. A complete decapitation with a Magnus Bullhead. Enjoy and thanks for watching!

  3. Awesome. Need to find a way to stick the head on for the pic. Laughed a bit as you were looking for head on vid. Nice job.
You ever miss the shotgun. Lot of respect for you bow hunters for turkeys, specifically the head shots, but I just don’t know if I could hang up the gun. Something about the bang and flop that gets me.

  4. To be honest, I have probably missed more with a shot gun than a bow ... LOL

I knew we could count on DEC for a good spring turkey story.
