A lot of the lakes at Greene Sullivan State Forest make for good fly fishing lakes. One of the lakes is stocked with trout also. The Sugar Creek that runs through the Turkey Run area is good for fly fishing. Best times are spring/fall, before and after the canoes start floating through. There are a lot of small streams in out of the way places that are good. They can be accessed along state highways. Broullets Creek, Little Vermillion River and Big Vermillion River all in Vermillion County, IN are good and run under SR 63. All mentioned hold some smallmouth bass also. I'm from northwestern Vigo County and am familiar with the areas I have mentioned but I have been told of others although I have not experienced them first hand. Good luck! :fish:
