Well, it paid off. The front moved out and the wind died down about 5AM this morning so me and a friend made a stand. This customer came out in the wide open before I even started calling. Gave a few rodent distress sounds from the AP-7, he looked but did not commit to them. I finally put one through his neck with a 223 at 270yds as he was meandering around in the field. Mangy male that was for sure not going to make it through the winter. Lots of hair loss.
