Hi I am new to this forum. Anyone other's from Sullivan or nearby Vigo Co. on this forum?
Especially any other ladies that love to hunt.

I checked out your buck photo. What a great deer!! Even more special being taken with a bow. Congratulations.

I fish down in your neck of the woods every year. I usally fish Greene Sullivan State Forrest and some of the other pits outside the park. My favorite fishing spot was pit 10 located west of the park. The fishing was fantastic and only the locals knew it was there. Unfortunatley the coal company reclaimed it and destroyed one of the best fishing spots in that area. Are you familiar with pit 10?

I see your a freelance outdoor writer. Any links to your articles? Its always nice to have up to date info while planning a fishing or hunting trip.

Where can I go on this forum to find someone that might know where I can find the bowhunting statics for Indiana such as top bowhunting county etc?
Any help would be really appreciated

The Indiana DNR website might be a place to start.

Welcome Hoosier Huntress...I'm from Vigo County. I live less than 5 minutes from the old Universal Peabody Coal Mine property. Unfortunately that property is no longer available for public fishing and hunting. I've spent many hours fishing the Greene Sullivan State Forest lakes, great area.

HoosierHuntress...I checked out your site...very impressive. It's great to see a women's org out there. My 8 year old daughter already is into hunting, fishing, camping, deer scouting, etc. Your are right...PASS IT ON!

You guys are all talking to the Hoosier Huntress - but she hasn't been on the forum since last February

Reminds me of when I was a student in high school and we signed a fictitious student up on the study hall list. Eddie Haskells (from Leave it to Beaver)

, Everyday some one would say "here" when the study hall lady took attendance, worked for the whole school year!
