If its for transportation and not hunting then how could it be illegal? Just have the guns unloaded and in a case plus permission from landowners your hunting on.

Was planning on brookeville res but didn't want to meet the " man" during the night. Hunting by my def. is when my feet are on the ground and following the dogs , just wanted to know if the law feels the same way.

Have a plan of attack because there are some ridiculous thick steep hills. I spent a lot of time on a turkey hunt this year just getting through a bad spot and didn't know a good place to get started.
