helped a friend get his turkey opening morning. then he let me dig a bunch of ramps! his woods must have been untouched for decades. 30 achers of it must be covered in them. i taught him how to dig sustainably and enjoy some. said im welcome to harvest more but i dont know what id o with them. lol already been eating them breakfast and lunch. sharing them with others that want a try. odd how most dont even know what they are. most woods round here have some growing. no morels found in our short look. ground dry her and mornings in the low 30s, so.

the score was just shy of half a trash bag full!

Season is over for me time to start fishing
some good eats there koko!

the cold nights, that kept blowing in, ruined yet another season, up north. last several years the same thing. too much of that global warming. lol

my season had another set back also. me and the kid were working on an outboard on the stand. the tilt failed and crushed off the first section of pinky finger. ill spare you all the pics and video. i now know how to properly fix a severed finger! very interesting thing to watch. my son videoed the entire stitch up also.😁

i hit the waters the last few days in search of some hog crappie. only a couple hog(thats 13 and up for me) so far but time is coming. the hogs we did catch looked to be spawning or done by the tails damage. all size males had their tuxedos on.

thanks and same to you.

i harvest a bunch of oyster and chickens all summer. that has become my mushroom interest the last several years. it eases the blow of light morel harvest years. lol
