Just had to brag!

Discussion in 'Indiana Bowhunting' started by qualitymilk1, Apr 2, 2006.

  1. My dad and I decided to go out and fling a few arrows this afternoon in the downpour. The 2nd round of arrows I let loose, I hear the sweet sound of steel smacking the backend of an uni-bushing! My first robin hood with that bow, and first with fingers release. Nice feeling, and I felt even better, when I took a look at the arrows-- A new unibushing and nock, and it should be ready to roll again.

Just wanted to pat myself on the back a bit! :bonk:

  2. Nice shot. Do you shoot aluminum or carbon? When I first started reading, I was thinking that (despite the cost) you would have a trophy to show for the shot - but being able to keep the arrows is great bonus!

  3. No mistaking the sound of a Robin Hood...good goin', Damon. I've got a few of 'em (only 1 with the uni-nock/bushing). I don't shoot at the same spot on the target more than once anymore...gets too expensive!

  4. That is pretty good shootin'
I once castrated a fly at 47 yds, he flew off just fine, but seemed rather sad.
