I was just thinking the other day of guns I no longer have but wish I did.

Every old gun was traded so I could get something better.

Here are two that I really miss.

Browning BSS (sxs) 20 gauge...bought it for 600 in 1989 (worth about 1,700 now). Loved that little gun but couldn't hit a lick with it...I think you have to learn on a sxs. Traded it for the Browning Citori 20 o/u in 1990.

Remington 1100 20 3" mag. Never seemed to miss with that gun. Also, traded it for a Browning 12 gauge.
  2. I had a favorite Winchester 20g that I enjoyed and shot well. For reasons unknown I traded the gun with a coworker for a Hummingbird fishfinder. The Hummingbird sat on a garage shelf for years until I finally put it to use. I soon found out I didn't like the Hummingbird, offered to buy back my gun from the guy I traded it with, and he had just traded the gun in on something else...gone forever, but not forgotten.

I have much more sorrow over a '69 Fender Stratocaster I sold years ago:bonk: .
