I hope you guys have a solid alibi for Nov. 29. Could this be a frustrated deer hunter? MAHOPAC, N.Y. Nov 29, 2006 (AP)— A man broke into a barn, spray-painted three pet goats and scattered pages of pornographic magazines on the floor, police said. Drew Gagnon, 37, was arrested Friday and charged with burglary, criminal trespass and animal cruelty, Lt. Brian Karst said. Douglas Bisio, 34, who police said drove Gagnon to the barn on Thanksgiving, was charged with criminal facilitation. "Obviously it's not an occurrence you see every day," Karst said. "I think it was a situation where this harassment got out of hand." He would not elaborate on what the feud involved but said the suspects were known to the goat's owner, Gail Fiero. Karst said he did not know specifically how the goats were harmed, but The Journal News reported that a veterinarian said the goats became sick after eating the magazine pages. The vet, Stacey Dallas, also said the orange paint was on their genitals. Gagnon's telephone number was unlisted, there was no record of a phone for Bisio and court officials had no lawyer listed for either man. Fiero said the goats were pets. "We just want to put this behind us," she said.
