I'm new to the site myself. Not from your area (Ft. Wayne) but I go down to Montgomery every year for some quail hunting. There are still some good pockets of them in southern IN.

Don't turkey hunt, but my Brittany keeps pointing them. A lot of guys up north are into it now that the population has exploded. There are quite a few up in the pigeon river area.

Pretty soon they'll be as plentiful as geese...just hope they aren't as messy.
