I was coming around 465 last night about 7:30 and saw what apeared to be a fwe turkeys in a field just west of the interstate just south of 86th st. Anyone ever seen turkeys there before? I know the Eagle creek has some, but I was suprised to see them..

Scientists discovered the fossil remains in Utah of what appears to be the ancestor to the modern turkey. The bird would have stood seven feet tall and could run 25 mph.

Here I thought Dean was a big turkey!!!

  3. My buddy was heading north on 65 last week and saw a hen fly across, about 2 feet off the ground. He was just north of where that police post, and fenced in dog run is on the west side of 65. He said a car missed her by a hair.
