Discussion in 'Indiana Turkey Hunting' started by FINS&GRINS, Apr 24, 2007.

  1. Me And Some Friends Are Heading Down To Patoka To Do Some Turkey Hunting And Fishing On May 3rd. For 4 Days, Anybody Hunted Down There , I Am Looking To Go Hunt The Tillery Hill Area Coming In Off The Lake , Or Does Anybody Know Any Areas Down There I Should Check Out , Staying At The Jackson S.r.a. Campground, Thanks For Any Help You Can Give Me!!!!!

  2. I Live A Few Miles From There And Where You Are Staying Is A Pretty Good Place, Just About Three Miles From The Jackson Ramp. I Heard 7 Gobblers In There A Week Ago. But I Would Advise You To Use Caution, That Whole Property Is Crawling With Hunters Opening Weekend. They Have Had A Few People Injured Down There On Opening Weekend In Years Past. I Am A Medic In The Area And Have Made A Few Runs Up There. So Just Be Careful. But There Is Alot Of Birds Up There. But Some Competion As Well. Good Luck. The Country Down Here Is Beautiful. Tillery Hill Also Holds A Few Birds As Well. I Heard 5 Down Around There Last Week. Good Luck.

  3. I would wear a piece of hunter orange somewhere on your person..
