been jiggin up some hog crappie. several in the 15-16" class with limits of eater 12-13s. lead head and plastic jigged in the deep cover. been cruising till i mark fish suspended then dropping in on them.
the buddy i had with me was keeping them all that day. thats why there are 15-16" crappie on my cutting board. i generally release any over 13". this mornings pig was just over 16" had three that were over 15 and kept 15 eater size for lunch.(pic still on my phone)
