Hey all,

I'm new to the state (in Bloomington for grad school) and am new to the sport of turkey hunting. I picked it up in Kentucky in the last couple years while I was living there for work.

I'm looking for any and all turkey hunting advice on public land in southern IN. Have you all been out this fall and seen any turkey? I've walked a couple miles of ridge top on several patches of Morgan-Monroe but haven't seen any sign.

I am hoping to get out this weekend before the fall season closes.

Thanks in advance!

HNF Turkey are everywhere, and Morgan Monroe Turkey are everywhere. The thing about fall turkeys is to pretty much sit and wait like deer hunting. They still act like they do in the spring without as much Strutting action but they still do what turkeys do. I was in Brookville the past couple of weeknds and counted 12 turkeys.
