Tagged out opening day

  1. For the first time in all my years of hunting turkeys have I ever tagged out and drinking coffee by 8:00am. I had 2 toms come in spitting and drumming for what seemed like hours but in actuality only 5-6 minutes. The hardest thing to do was trying to get separation between the two so I could take a shot. Needless to say, one of them got a major headache but he was able to get a ride in my truck. It weighed 24 pounds, had a 11 1/4 inch beard and had 1 inch spurs. A great hunt and awesome memories made. I hope everyone is having a great season! ImageUploadedByOhub Campfire1524885269.940639.jpg ImageUploadedByOhub Campfire1524885290.991627.jpg

  6. Congrats. Very nice bird. The early tag filling makes up for those long days of sitting.
