Do any of you use diaphram calls when entering your stand location?

  3. yes!!
i see a lot of turkeys bow hunting. as their feeding they make very soft yelps. as i walk to my stand alot of times i will make soft yelps especially if the leaves are dry. turkeys are noisy in the woods. you can usually hear them long before you see them. if deer are bedded sy 100 yrds. or so to your walking it has a very good chance of keeping them at ease.

  4. I hunt by a busy railroad, often we'll wait until a train goes by and time our movements with it, works very well! I've even done this to change stands mid-day, and took a doe with this tactic last year.
  5. nope ,but the place i hunt is loaded with them, good ideal
