  1. Who has something at the taxidermist, what, where, and why?

  2. Hey H.B.

Congradulations on your buck. When you get it back post some photo's and share it with the rest of us.

Unfortunitly I dont have anything at the taxidermist this year. But I Know what your going through, the excitement, the anticipation. In 98 I took a real nice buck opening day of the bow season. It was at the taxidermist the next day. I got it back Dec. 24. What a great Christmas that was.

I use American Natural Resources out of Griffith, IN. I've had 3 bucks mounted by these folks and have always had a fast turnaround. I'm not an expert, but I have been extremely pleased with the quality of the craftsmenship.

Again congrats. I'm sure the wait will be well worth it.

  3. taxi

This is the 3rd deer I have had this guy do for me and I have obviously been very pleased with his work. The wait is well worth it. I figure I'm dropping some $, and I will have this thing for the rest of my life, so I want it done well. Lots of folks drop way more money on artwork for their house just becauuse they like to look at it. It's way better for your artwork to be a focal point for a great memeory of a hunt.
What internet photo station does everyone use? Hunt 101? Photobucket? Others?

  4. I have 3 bucks mounted, none are monsters by any stretch of the imagination, but they were all trophys to me. One was my first buck ever killed with a firearm, and another was my first with a bow. Im waiting now though for a real brute or I wont have it mounted. Wanatah, thats nice that you get such quick return time on your deer, i was lucky if I had my deer back to me before August. They were all done nicely, and the guy works another full time job on the side and gets a lot of business with his taxidermy so i guess it is to be expected.
