Webster Lake and parking, and Tourney this weekend

  1. Just an FYI for any here that fish Webster on a regular basis. Last Weekend the Backwatter Ramp was filled beyond capacity with multiple rigs parked by the tubes and just past the east end of the ramp. Police and/or Sheriff arrived sometime in the morning with ticket books in hand and started writing cars up. $93.50 is the damage if they get you. If the Backwater Ramp is full I highly reccomend using either the Fisherman's Cove Pay Ramp or the Lakeshore Marina pay ramp. Rarely does the parking at either of these get full. At Fishermans Cove park your rig across the street from the Lakeside restraunt(Pizza King).

In a related note, the Hoosier Musky Club's annual Spring Musky Classic is this weekend. Supposedly arrangements have been made so as to not block up the ramps. But they will be crowded all the same. The Classic is fished on Tippy, the Barbee Chain and Webster. Every boat will spend at least one day on each all three sets of lakes will be crowded this weekend..
