  2. That is good, ccavacini. You can add to his list that there is the same number of
indents on a golf ball as there is air holes in a egg. Don't ask me a number I heard it at south shores gulf club one year in a game we played.

  3. I think its 360. We built 18 molding machines for Spalding that made golf balls. Very special way to get the plastic in the mold and make the ball perfectly balanced and round. Had to sign paperwork not to disclose it before we could start the project.

THey had 18 machines running 24/7 making golf balls and they only had 40% of the market. Ever notice the water hazards are always full on a golf course. Maybe the rate of water evaporation matches that of golf ball "precipitation".

Another company had 14 machines, each making 8 golf spikes every 14 seconds (480 spikes per minute) and they run 24/7. No wonder landfills are full.

  4. The number of dimples on a golf ball varies widely, as do the dimensions and patterns of the dimples. For example, the Srixon AD333 has 333 dimples, while the Maxfli EXT Revolution has 442 dimples.
